Warranty Policy
What warranty covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. What warranty applies
Warranty coverage varies by product. Where a product carries a manufacturer’s warranty, the length and terms are stated on that product’s page. Coverage runs from the date of delivery.
Not every product we sell carries a manufacturer’s warranty. Refurbished, open-box and used items are sold without manufacturer coverage. Where a product page states no warranty, none applies, and your protection is the 30-day return right set out in our Refund & Returns policy.
Warranty is separate from your 30-day return right. A return is for sending an item back; a warranty claim is for a fault that appears later.
2. Proof of purchase
Your order confirmation email is your proof of purchase and is required for any claim. If you have lost it, contact us with the name or email used on the order and we will resend it.
3. What warranty generally covers
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, it generally covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
- A product that fails to operate as designed under normal use.
- Components that fail prematurely through no fault of the user.
4. What warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, surface rust on outdoor equipment, and consumable parts such as blades, belts, filters, spark plugs, and batteries.
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, or negligence.
- Damage from improper assembly, installation, or operation contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Damage from unauthorized modification, repair, or non-approved parts.
- Damage from failure to perform routine maintenance specified in the manual.
- Damage from weather, flood, or fire, unless the product is rated for those conditions.
- Commercial use where the warranty is stated as residential only.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function.
- Pre-existing cosmetic wear on refurbished, open-box or used items, which is disclosed on the product page.
- Products not purchased directly from Bybunish.com.
5. Transit damage is not a warranty claim
If your item arrives damaged, that is a shipping claim and it is time-sensitive. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph the item and packaging, keep the packaging, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. See our Shipping Policy. This applies to every product, including those sold without a manufacturer’s warranty.
6. How to make a warranty claim
- Email support@bybunish.com with your order number and the product name.
- Describe the fault: what happens, when it started, and how the product has been used.
- Attach clear photos or a short video of the problem, plus a photo of the model and serial number plate.
- We review the claim and either resolve it directly or connect you with the manufacturer’s service network, depending on the brand and the fault.
Please contact us before returning anything. Unauthorized returns cannot be matched to your order.
7. Possible outcomes
Depending on the product, the fault, and the manufacturer’s terms, a valid claim may be resolved by a replacement part, a repair, a replacement unit, or a refund. We tell you which applies before anything is actioned.
8. Spare parts
Tell us the product and the part you need and we will check what the manufacturer can supply. Availability depends on the brand and the age of the model. Parts needed because of wear or accidental damage are chargeable.
9. Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where the law gives you greater rights than those described here, those legal rights apply.
